Our philosophy
Quality, commitment and respect are the result of a carefully constructed cultural environment. They have to be the fabric of the organization, not part of the fabric.
Sable Island prides itself in manufacturing the highest quality furniture designed for the hospitality market. We work with solid wood, veneer, metal, glass and stone and have a full upholstery division. Our furniture can be free standing or fitted and we will manufacture any quantity from one piece to thousands depending on your needs. Our focus is always on quality which is assured no matter what volume we are working with. However high quality still comes at a sensible price and we are conscious that all projects have finite budgets.
We have standard products many of which are available from stock, together with a full custom service where we can design and build any piece to suit any customer. We also recognise that having an unlimited choice can be bewildering so we have a product portfolio of fabulous designs ranging from products we have previously made to collections which have been designed for us by a selection of well-known FF&E designers.
These collections are designed for hotel specifiers by hotel designers who understand the complexities of designing hotels and the stringent requirements of hotel owners and operators. Everything in our portfolio can be customised to suit the client’s individual needs.
Our services do not stop at simply manufacturing; we have installation teams and a post sales service team to take care of our products throughout their life cycle ensuring that your furniture is always well maintained and that replacement parts remain available as needed.
We have been making top quality furniture for over a decade, and our products now grace commercial properties and residential homes in many countries. Our mission is to turn the best available raw materials into the best available furniture, leaving behind a minimal environmental footprint.
