Tom Schneider

A few words from Tom: I always design freely without worrying about the practicalities or limitations of manufacture, which ensures that the design is never compromised. I revel in the challenge of finding innovative and sometimes complicated methods of turning my designs into practical furniture. My influences often come from nature and architecture rather than other furniture designs.

I began in a small workshop, making unique, bespoke furniture for individual clients, before launching my first collection in 1996 which included the Swirl coffee table and the DNA shelves, which are more popular today than ever.

It is wonderful to hear how passionate customers are about my furniture. It is their feedback that has driven me full circle, back to where it all began, designing inimitable bespoke furniture for individual customers.
